Castrol Magnatec Professional E 5W-20 is a high performance engine oil

The formula of this engine oil is based on UMA technology (Unique Molecular Attraction) which includes polar additive components. A new oil specification WSS-M2C948-B with the viscosity grade 5W-20 has been approved for gasoline engines (except KA Ford, Focus ST and Focus RS). However, for a 1.0 3 cylinder EcoBoost engines it’s usage is mandatory while being fully compatible with older versions. Ford strongly recommends that it be used for all engines, having currently prescribed oils with the specifications WSS-M2C913-B, WSS-M2C913-C or WSS-M2C925-B.

The new engine oil was developed specifically for Ford EcoBoost engines and allows significant fuel savings, while at the same time fulfilling the durability requirement of WSS-M2C913-C and even surpassing it in certain aspects.
